About :Symphony No. 9 in E minor, B. 178 (Op. 95) "From the New World" was composed by Antonín Dvořák in 1893 and premiered on December 16 of the same year at Carnegie Hall by the New York Philharmonic. It is the best known of Dvořák's symphonies and one of the most popular works in the modern symphonic repertoire. Neil Armstrong took an audio recording of this symphony with him on the Apollo 11 mission, the first to put a man on the moon, in 1969.
