About :Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) wrote most of his flute works during his second and ultimate stay in Paris, in 1778. A rich Dutch trader and flute enthusiast named De Jean commissioned three flute concertos to Mozart, as well as several quartet pieces for strings and flute. Only two of them were finally completed. De Jean specifically requested for the works not to be too long or difficult to perform.
