About :Chopin (1810-1849) composed his Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op.65 in 1846. It was the last work during his lifetime. Chopin wrote very few scores for other instruments than the PianoIt goes to the cellist Auguste-Joseph Franchomme, who premiered it in 1848. This sonata was perceived as very disconcerting due to the its very novel nature.
