About :Beethoven's 3rd Symphony is one of the milestones of the history of symphonies. It was composed between 1803 and 1804, while the French general, Napoleon Bonaparte, was taking Europe by storm. The symphony was first named 'Bonaparte' before becoming 'Heroic' instead. It is about heroes' lives, from their uncommon energy depicted in the first movement, to their deaths with the funeral march of the second movement, and ends on two hopeful movements, typical of the Age of Enlightenment.
